The Nez Perce Tribe Dept. of Fisheries Enforcement is recruiting for: CONSERVATION ENFORCEMENT OFFICER HR-19-174
regular full-time. The work station is in Sweetwater, Idaho. To protect the natural resources of the Nez Perce Tribe and its members while exercising treaty fishing, hunting and gathering rights. Officers are on call 24/7 for response to calls to duty or manning shortfalls. Must meet and pass entry-level requirement to the Indian Police Academy and or Federal Law Enforcement Land Management Academy. Candidate must successfully complete a drug urinalysis, background investigation, psychological evaluation, medical evaluation, and a physical fitness test prior to hire and to retain employment. Must have a good conduct and honorable discharge from the military service if applicable. Requires a High School Diploma/GED. Requires being at least twenty one (21) years of age at the time of appointment. Requires two (2) years of responsible work experience. The Nez Perce Tribe is a drug free work environment, pre-employment drug testing required. Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured under the Tribe’s policy.
